2. Were you surprised that Katniss was having a difficult time on the first few days of the Games? yes because she seemed so well in training.
3. Do you think that Peeta is actually trying to kill Katniss or do you think he is trying to help her survive? we believe that he is trying to help her survive because he would not other wise he would have not let her get away.
4. How would you have reacted if you woke up during the Games to find that the surrounding forest was on fire? Do you think that this was a good choice for her to run? I would run from the immediate danger.
5. Do you think that it was a good idea for Katniss to join and ally herself with Rue? yes because it could only be beneficial.
6. Do you think that Katniss will go to find Peeta at the end of the second section? yes because he likes him.

To start the meeting, Jake brought in milk's favorite cookies and Steven shared his questions with the group. The questions were about the mode/tone of the second section of The Hunger Games. The mode and tone of this section is very suspenseful becomes the Games have begun and a lot of people have died already. Also, anyone can die at any minute.
